Sue Jones

For 30+ years, Susan Jones has specialized in supporting parents with intellectual disabilities. She has a BS in Rehabilitation from Springfield College and a Master Level Certificate in Parenting Education from Wheelock College. She is the founder of The New England Coalition for Supporting Parents with Cognitive Challenges and a principal founder and former Co-President of The Association for Successful Parenting. Susan if the director of the Family and Youth Services Department for The United Arc of Turners Falls MA. Within that department is the Positive Parenting Program, which provides comprehensive services to parents with learning differences through in home parent training, instructional supervised supervisions Transitional Support Housing, and Caregiver, parent educational, and support groups. She has conducted parent education groups and conducts trainings on working with parents with intellectual disabilities.
