Membership, at the applicable fee, is open to individuals interested in enhancing the well-being of parents with learning difficulties (intellectual disability) and their children. Members should share TASP values , support TASP’s mission, honor family autonomy and self-determination; and encourage natural supports, community acceptance and inclusion.
We acknowledge the importance of people coming along side people, and that these relationships can take many different forms. If you care about a parent (or parents) with learning difficulties, TASP wants to offer you support and information. Chose whatever category seems most fair depending on your circumstance, and welcome to TASP!
Only an administrator can add new users.
If you are experiencing a financial hardship and would like to apply for a confidential Dues Exception Approval, please mail in the membership form and include note or letter explaining the need for the exception and the amount you can afford to pay. Please indicate the membership category you are requesting.
Exceptions shall be approved on a case by case basis, as determined by majority vote of the Executive Committee of TASP.
